George W. Hollenback has been appraising real property since 1984 and has more than four decades of professional appraisal experience involving virtually all types of real property.

With extensive local experience in Lee County and surrounding communities, George provides clients with the market knowledge and professional judgment developed through decades of appraisal practice.

   Throughout his career, George has appraised virtually all types of real property. That extensive experience enables him to recognize the unique characteristics of each property and develop credible, well-supported appraisal conclusions based on careful analysis and sound judgment. 

 During more than four decades in the appraisal profession, George has adapted to significant changes in appraisal standards, professional requirements, technology, and market conditions while maintaining a commitment to objective and independent appraisal practice.

George provides objective, impartial, independent, and credible real property appraisal services for estate, probate, divorce, litigation, expert witness, retrospective valuation, and selected commercial assignments.  

A Broad Real Estate Background

George’s professional background extends beyond appraisal. His experience in other areas of the real estate industry provides additional perspective when analyzing properties and understanding the factors that influence value.

He taught appraisal classes for several years at the University of Southern Maine, helping educate future real estate professionals. He also held real estate sales licenses in three different states over a period of more than twenty years, providing valuable insight into real estate transactions and market activity.

Earlier in his career, George worked as a building apartment construction superintendent and later as an apartment community manager. Those experiences provided firsthand knowledge of construction, property operations, and real estate management that continues to benefit his appraisal practice today.
